HR

Organisation-scoped employment records, assigned shifts, attendance, contracts, and leave.

locationId is an opaque id from the calling product. This service does not own locations, directory projections, access roles, or planning.

Authentication is required. User types: admin, area-manager, manager, member (from Directory memberships for service hr).

What it owns

• Organisation HR settings for the JWT organisation
• Employment records, departments, and assigned shifts
• Clock-in / clock-out, breaks, timesheets, and attendance exceptions
• Contract templates, issuance, electronic acceptance, and signed copies in R2
• Leave types, balances, requests, and approvals
• User documents, in-app notifications, and an HR audit log

Clock-in timestamps are always generated by the Worker. Clock-in, contract issue, and leave approval accept Idempotency-Key.

What it does not own

• Identity and membership (Directory)
• Schedule generation (Planning)
• Expenses and receipts (Expense)
• Venue operations (Venue)
